On July 20th, Mike Tyson will go head-to-head against Jake Paul in Texas. Although it has yet to be confirmed whether or not it will be a professional or exhibition match, the two boxers are excited to display their skills. However, since there is a gap of 30 years between Tyson, 57, and Jake Paul, 27, many people are worried about the former Heavyweight champion’s health.
Analyst Stephen A. Smith pointed out that Tyson,57, was often spotted with a cane in his hand in the recent past. On the other hand, while Oscar De La Hoya thought Paul was dangerous to Tyson’s legacy, Tim Tszyu said that age was not “just a number“.
But, Mike Tyson has faith in his abilities and preparation. Likewise, after several of Tyson’s training videos became public, the boxing world was startled by Tyson’s power and accuracy at 57. On that note, UFC commentator Joe Rogan now spoke in detail about Mike Tyson’s “unique” training with electrical muscular stimulation.

According to Rogan, this method helps Tyson in “rehabilitating injuries“. “For a lot of people, it gives them significant gains when they use it. As opposed to just using weightlifting,” Rogan said. Although Rogan claimed he did not know much about the science behind the method, he said, “You slap electrodes onto yourself. They put these pads on you and it’s hooked up to a machine.”
“And while the electricity is going into your muscles, you’re doing exercises. So, while you’re getting jolted, you’re doing squats and you’re doing like deadlifts. You’re doing all these s**t while you’re connected to this thing that’s stimulating your muscles,” Rogan said with admiration on The JR Podcast.
In this context, although Tyson is working out while getting jolted, Jake Paul trained with Team USA boxers to face ‘Kid Dynamite’!
