Jorginho could be a manager in the making after seeing his touchline performance against Aston Villa.
The Arsenal midfielder was an unused substitute in the 1-0 defeat at Villa Park but that didn’t stop him from showing his leadership qualities from the sidelines.

In footage captured by football journalist Michael Hinckes, Jorginho could be seen warming up in his fluorescent vest while barking advice at his Gunners’ teammates.
He captioned the post: “No Arteta in the dugout but Jorginho has been ‘warming up’ along the sidelines, barking instructions at his Arsenal teammates and kicking every ball. Manager in the making”
In another clip filmed at half-time, he could be seen high-fiving Arsenal’s players as they made their way off the pitch and giving them an encouraging pat on the back as they made their way to the dressing room 1-0 down.
That post was captioned: “And Jorginho at half-time. Knows the importance of keeping Arsenal spirits high with Arteta in the stands – they’re certainly still in this and have last season’s late win here to draw on too.”
Jorginho has been a bit-part player under Mikel Arteta this term, starting just four times in the Premier League and twice in the Champions League.
That is due to the largely excellent performances of midfield trio Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz.
But while the Italian star isn’t guaranteed to play a lot of minutes, the fact that the 31-year-old is clearly all-in on the Arsenal project is a great boost for Arteta’s side.
Despite the defeat to Aston Villa, Arsenal still find themselves firmly in the title race as they sit just one point behind Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.

“I’m very disappointed with the result, especially with the way we played,” Mikel Arteta said after the game.
“I think we deserved much more than what we got. We were the much better team. I haven’t seen a team do what we did to Villa since we won here in February.
“It was not enough to win it because we lacked the accuracy in the opponents’ box to put the ball in the back of the net with the amount of situations that we generated.”
