Guardiola on ‘exceptional’ Kane as Bayern deal agreed
Harry Kane has agreed to join Bayern Munich and will travel to Germany for a medical on Friday, according to reports.
Kane was apparently “leaning towards” staying at Spurs in a surprise twist on Thursday, but The Athletic now report he has decided to join the Bundesliga giants and will pen a four-year deal at the Allianz Arena.
Transfer oracle Fabrizio Romano later said Spurs would receive a €100m fixed fee plus add-ons of up to €20m.
Kane wanted his future sorted before Tottenham’s Premier League opener against Brentford on Sunday.
Bayern have been pursuing the England captain all summer with the 30-year-old entering the final 12 months of his contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Kane is expected to wear the No. 9 shirt in Germany.
