Liverpool continued their preparations for the upcoming campaign with a ridiculous 4-4 draw against Greuther Furth.
The match was played behind-closed-doors and saw Jurgen Klopp field to different starting XIs for each half.
The Reds opened the scoring through Luis Diaz in the opening 45 minutes before things kicked off in the second period.
Adrian’s mistake allowed Julian Green to score before Darwin Nunez grabbed a double. The German side then made it 4-3 before Nunez set up Mohamed Salah for a last-gasp equaliser.

Well, that’s it from us this afternoon as Liverpool played out a bizarre 4-4 draw behind-closed-doors against Geuther Furth.
There were plenty of positives for Jurgen Klopp, with Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez all looking very lively.
But there are definitely concerns defensively and the midfield was overwhelmed in the second period by the German side.
Klopp promised transfer additions, and you can see where he needs to strengthen.

That’s the end of that, and what a game!
Liverpool displayed some brilliant attacking instincts but old defensive frailties were there for all to see as well.
It was 1-0 to the Reds at half time, Jurgen Klopp then made 11 changes and Darwin Nunez stole the show.
The Uruguayan scored twice and laid on an assist for Mohamed Salah, but at the other end, it was carnage.
Certainly, plenty for Klopp to ponder.

Nunez beats the offside trap and drifts out to the left.
He looks up and plays a cross into the area for Salah.
The Egyptian arrives at the far post and converts from on the line.

It’s a great move down the right as Hrgota feeds Petkov.
He calmly picks out Sieb in the box, who lashes a strike into the back of the net.

Both sides look very dangerous going forward and sloppy at the back.

Calhanoglu has all the time in the world to bring it down and lay it back to Petkov.
He takes a touch and hits a shot across Adrian and into the net.
However, the Reds are furious because Calhanoglu looked offside.

Quansah knocks a lovely ball over the Greuther Furth defence that drops in the right channel.
Salah’s touch sees him open the goal up before curls an effort over the bar from 12 yards.

It’s a lovely goal as well that starts with Elliott switching a pass into Salah’s path.
He brings it down and tickles a ball through for Nunez.
The striker collects, rounds the goalkeeper and scores.

From the free-kick, the ball goes back to Adrian.
He has options to the left and right but tries to find McConnell, who has Green at his back.
It’s an awful pass and Green nips to tap the ball into an empty net.

46′ – Lemperle smashes into Quansah as the Furth striker looked to get away down the right, but it was an unfair challenge and it’s a free-kick.
