Michael Chandler plans to retire Conor McGregor ‘without ever throwing a punch’

Michael Chandler believes he may get an unofficial win over Conor McGregor without ever having to throw a strike.

Chandler and McGregor were slated to square off in the main event of UFC 303 this past month, but an injury delayed the long-awaited return of McGregor. Chandler also continued teasing that the matchup with McGregor could take place at UFC 306 in September — the promotion’s debut at Sphere in Las Vegas — while also laid down a challenge to longtime McGregor rival Nate Diaz.
