Travis Kelce has been all over the news for months.
On the football side of things, there’s a good reason for that.

Kelce has become one of the best tight ends in NFL history and the eight-time Pro Bowler is on the verge of making more history.
The Kansas City Chief will enter a big international game against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany with 10,927 total receiving yards.
Kelce only needs 73 yards against Tua Tagovailoa’s team to break 11,000 yards in his career.
That number becomes even more impressive when factoring in the rare air the 34-year-old Kelce will enter.
Only Tony Gonzalez, Jason Witten and Antonio Gates currently have more receiving yards than Kelce as an NFL tight end.
Passing Gates (11,841 yards) is definitely doable for Kelce.
Surpassing Gonzalez (15,127) would be a major feat.
But it’s also possible, since Kelce plays with Patrick Mahomes and runs plays in Andy Reid’s high-scoring Chiefs offense.

Either way, Kelce has only needed 151 pro games to approach 11,000 yards, putting the former third-round pick on a historic pace.
While some debate whether Kelce is better than former New England/Tampa Bay great Rob Gronkowski, Kelce’s yards-per-game average (72.4) has the two-time Super Bowl winner on a different level than everyone else.
No tight end has approached the 11,000-yard mark this fast.
If Kelce breaks that barrier against the Dolphins, it’s easy to argue that the Chief now famously associated with Taylor Swift is underrated on the NFL field where he first made his name.
