The Bills finally started to look like the team we expected them to be over the last three weeks.
Week 14’s win over the Kansas City Chiefs confirmed that Josh Allen and Co. can still win an important game and compete in the postseason.
Buffalo has a chance to gain a game on the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers and potentially the Houston Texans with a win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Dallas has plenty to play for as well with the No. 1 seed in the NFC and the NFC East title in its sights, but it will be hard for it to stop Allen at the level is playing right now.
The Cowboys gave up three of their five highest yardage concessions of the season in the last three weeks.
Washington and Philadelphia did not turn those yards into points as often as the Seahawks did in Week 13, but that trend is a bit concerning ahead of the matchup with the Bills.
Dallas has been more vulnerable on the road as well, as it suffered losses to Arizona, Philadelphia and San Francisco and produced its two lowest point totals of the season away from AT&T Stadium.
Buffalo is in the perfect position to take advantage of its own momentum to beat a Super Bowl contender, and that could go a long way for the team’s psyche as it chases a playoff spot over the next few weeks.
