Ngannou ranked No. 10 heavyweight by WBC following Fury fight

At their annual convention, the WBC said Ngannou would come in at No. 10, with Deontay Wilder ranked as the No. 1 contender for Fury’s WBC title.

Anthony Joshua is second, with Arslanbek Makhmudov, Frank Sanchez and Efe Ajagba rounding off the top five.

Otto Wallin, who is preparing for a December bout with Joshua in Saudi Arabia, is ninth, but Britain’s Joe Joyce didn’t make the top 10.

While a mandatory challenger for Fury’s title will be revealed next year, the ‘Gypsy King’ has turned his attentions to his undisputed heavyweight contest against Oleksandr Usyk, which looks set to happen in February.

Ngannou, meanwhile, would like a rematch with Fury and has also been linked with a bout against Joshua and Wilder.
