Samuel Adegbenro delivered a man-of-the-match performance as he scored both goals for Viking in their 2-1 triumph over Sarpsborg 08 in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

In Italy, Tyronne Ebuehi came off the bench to provide the assist for Viktor Kovalenko’s late winner as Empoli secured a shock 0-1 victory against Serie A champions Napoli.

In the Dutch Eredivisie, Chuba Akpom was on the pitch for only a few seconds before scoring his third league goal for Ajax in their disappointing 2-2 draw with Almere City.
