The Orioles defied expectations last season. The team, going through a youth movement, won 101 games and took the AL East by storm before losing to the eventual champion Rangers in the division series.
Heading into 2024, the Orioles have one of the youngest teams in baseball, which includes the likes of Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson. The team added a few veterans to its roster during the offseason, including closer Craig Kimbrel and former Cy Young winner Corbin Burnes.
There also appears to be a new attitude after the Angelos family agreed to sell the team to a group led by David Rubenstein that includes Cal Ripken Jr., former Baltimore mayor Kurt Schmoke, Michael Bloomberg, and more.

Orioles spring training schedule 2024
Grapefruit League games begin Saturday, February 24 at Ed Smith Stadium against the Red Sox. The spring training slate concludes with a game against the Twins. The Orioles open the regular season at home against the Angels on March 28.
