After months of fielding and regional competitions, the Overwatch Champions Series is culminating in its grandest event this year: the 2024 OWCS Dallas Major.
The in-person event seeks to break ground on competitive Overwatch. So far, the OWCS has a big crowd-funded prizepool and a stacked roster of pro teams. Will the stage at Dreamhack Dallas be set for a big Overwatch esports resurgence or a huge letdown?
Since we got news of the OWCS in January, fans have waited for a revival of the 5v5 shooter’s esports scene. In this article, we’re looking at everything you need to know about the OWCS Dallas Major, its players, how the tournament will be played and more.
OWCS 2024 Dallas Major Overview
The 2024 OWCS Dallas Major will have eight teams compete in a double-elimination bracket.

These teams represent all three OWCS regions. The games are all played in a best-of-five (or BO5) format except for the Grand Final, which will be BO7.
OWCS Dallas Major 2024 Schedule & Format
The Dallas Major will take place at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas and will run from May 31 to June 2. The games start on the following times:
