Win, and you’re in. Seem easy enough, Packers?
For the second straight year Green Bay has one job to do to make the playoffs: win the final game. Though, that always proves to be harder than it should be. While the Packers have won nine straight against the Bears, including a 38-20 victory in Week 1, Chicago could pull the upset.
The Bears have won four of their last five games, falling only to Cleveland. That includes wins over the Vikings, Lions and Cardinals. While Chicago has been eliminated from playoff contention, taking down its division rival would be quite a way to close out a season that started with four straight losses.
The Bears have a big advantage when it comes to the game on the ground. They average 145.3 yards per game, the second-best in the league. On the other side, the Packers have lost all four games in which they’ve allowed at least 155 rushing yards. If Justin Fields can avoid turnovers and get it done with his feet, there’s a chance Chicago could grab its eighth win of the season.
If the Packers lose, they’re not out of the playoff race completely. They would need losses from the Seahawks, Vikings and Saints to earn a wild card spot.
