But it was the Chiefs’s stellar record and the recent post-Super Bowl win energy that tilted his decision toward the Chiefs.

Moreover, the veteran had shared with his agent his inclination toward Kansas City beforehand. “I was really leaving it up to my agent,” Brown said, as per Arrowhead Report. “Kansas City was a place I told him I wanted to be if that was an opportunity. And it kind of just unfolded, I let him do his job, and God made it happen.” Brown further explained that he felt that he hadn’t had the chance to explore his full potential in the past, and Kansas City could provide him with that platform.
