Ahead of his return to action at the Masters tournament this week, legendary golfer Tiger Woods took part in a star-studded dinner for former champions.
The five-time Masters winner was featured in a portrait photo released Wednesday featuring the event’s attendees:

Reigning champion Jon Rahm is seated front and center. Other past champions participating in this year’s tournament such as Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth, Hideki Matsuyama and Scottie Scheffler were also featured in the photo.
Woods is playing in his 26th career Masters. He has made the cut 23 straight times, which ties the record held by Gary Player and Fred Couples. He most recently won the coveted green jacket in 2019 when he made an epic comeback after being outside the top 10 on the Thursday of the tournament.
Woods initially hoped to be more active during the 2024 season, but the Masters will be his first full tournament this year. He said during a press conference Tuesday that his body wouldn’t allow him to return to action sooner.
“I wasn’t ready to play. My body wasn’t ready. My game wasn’t ready,” he said. “Now we have major championships every month from here until July, so hopefully that once-a-month kicks in.”
The 48-year-old, who is still dealing with ankle and leg issues that have plagued him since his 2021 car crash, added that he’s confident in his ability to earn another victory at Augusta National.
“If everything comes together, I think I can get one more,” he said.
Fans are certainly hoping that Woods’ confidence will pay off, as seeing him win again would be a heartwarming moment for arguably the greatest golfer of all time.
