Brandon Aiyuk, Wide Receiver (San Francisco 49ers)

That catch can’t make Aiyuk’s Pro Bowl case, of course, so let’s dig into that part of things. The former first-round pick turned 105 targets into 75 receptions for 1,342 yards (seventh) and seven touchdowns (tied for 18th). An absurd 61 of his 75 catches resulted in first downs, and his average reception spanned a career-high 17.9 yards.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Wide Receiver (Detroit Lions)

Clearly, the NFC was loaded with high-caliber receivers this season, as it’s hard to argue against any of the actual selections at the position: CeeDee Lamb, Mike Evans, A.J. Brown and Puka Nacua. Saying that, though, it might be even harder to build a credible case for why St. Brown wasn’t selected, since he was named as an All-Pro first-teamer.

He was top five in most relevant receiving categories, including catches (119, tied for second), yards (1,515, third) and touchdowns (10, tied for fourth). He also produced a league-leading nine contests with 100-plus receiving yards.
