R-Truth has finally won a WrestleMania match, netting the WWE Raw tag team titles in a frantic six-pack ladder match.
The 52-year-old veteran snared the red brand’s championships alongside The Miz in Philadelphia, the Awesome Truth one of two new sets of champs crowned in the bout.

WWE’s top male tag titles had been held collectively as one undisputed set of tag championships since 2022 when The Usos claimed that honour when part of The Bloodline.
After almost two years, the titles have been parted following a thrilling ladder match that wowed fans at WrestleMania XL.
Awesome Truth claimed the Raw gold while A-Town Down Under, the team of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, won the SmackDown championships.
The all-action affair also featured previous incumbents The Judgement Day, The New Day, brit duo The New Catch Republic and DIY.
After a steady beginning, bodies began to fly here, there and everywhere around ringside with tables and ladders involved.
In one scary moment, DIY’s Jonny Gargano sent Pete Dunne hurtling through a table with a sickening landing courtesy of a DDT – the table snapping clean in two.
Gargano’s team mate Tommaso Ciampa nailed Tyler Bate with an Air Raid Crash from the top of a ladder.
After Waller had snatched the blue brand titles for his team, Judgement Day’ s JD McDonagh tried to interfere to aid Damian Priest but was sent through a table himself for good measure.

Wading through the crowd of carnage was Truth – one of the most popular stars in WWE over the last few months thanks to his comedic charisma – who eventually snatched the set of Raw belts to bring the contest to an end.
It was an almost universally popular ending on social media, with fans thrilled to see the veteran finally given his ‘WrestleMania moment.’
One post on X said: “A long overdue WrestleMania moment for R-Truth, one of the greatest characters in WWE history… Great moment.”
Another said: “R Truth makes me so happy. What a dude.”
A further post celebrating the big win said: “R Truth winning at Wrestlemania is awesome.
“Chaotic and enjoyable match.”
“OMG what an INCREDIBLE, wholesome and wonderful moment for R Truth,” read another.
Reflecting on the match, one account on X posted: “This match is FULL of OMG moments!”

The victory for Awesome Truth at WrestleMania came shortly after a major win for Aussie Rhea Ripley, who successfully defended her Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch.
