Red Sox have the toughest schedule in MLB after All-Star break

The MLB All-Star Game has come and gone, and all 30 teams, including the Boston Red Sox, will be back in action starting on Friday.

Alex Cora’s squad has played very well over the last month, putting themselves in position to compete for not only a Wild Card spot but also the division.

However, the Red Sox will have their work cut out for them, as FanGraphs released the remaining strength of schedule for each team for the rest of the year. Boston’s is the most difficult in the league.

Unfortunately, the New York Yankees, who are just 3.5 games ahead of Boston coming out of the break, have one of the easiest paths the rest of the way.

If Boston can keep playing the way that they have, get first baseman Triston Casas back and add a piece or two before the deadline, they should have no problem keeping pace with the best that the league has to offer.
