The 2023-24 season has a bunch of talented rookies from a variety of teams. However, it looks like the new NBA Rising Star game might be one-sided after fans have called out former Los Angeles Lakers star Pau Gasol, for his stacked team. The other three teams headed by Jalen Rose, Tamika Catchings, and Detlef Schrempf, are filled with a lot of talented youngsters as well, but fans on social media believe Gasol has an easy win.

Team Pau’s Rising Stars would be Victor Wembanyama, Brandon Miller, Jabari Smith Jr, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Brandin Podziemski, Bilal Coulibaly, and Cason Wallace.

While Wembanyama’s excellence is seen in mostly all games he has played this season, Brandon Miller is no less of a talent, who has put up incredible numbers in the last few games. Podziemski and Jaquez Jr. are already playing a defined role for their team with an average of nearly 30 minutes. Well, in addition to all of the above, we have Jabari Smith Jr., who has been crucial for the Rockets.

This is not Gasol’s first time in the Rising Star’s game. He was a coach last year too, where he lead the team to a Rising Star championship.

Fans believe ‘Team Pau’, has half of the best rookies in the league right now. Like mentioned above, Wembanyama, Miller, Jaquez Jr. and Podziemski are all making an impact for their team respectively.

Fans believe ‘Team Detlef’ is the most unexperienced team and they also believe Mac McClung is the best player there, who is not even in the NBA at the moment.

On the other hand, fans also believe ‘Team Jalen’ is going to be a problem, which has some of the best young big mans in the NBA.
