Pyramids FC forward Fagrie Lakay is looking forward to taking on Mamelodi Sundowns back in South Africa this afternoon.
The Egyptian Premier League outfit take on the South African champions at Loftus Versfeld on Sunday afternoon in a CAF Champions League group stage clash.
The former Cape Town City and SuperSport United striker is well aware of the threat posed by the Brazilians.

“I am happy to be back home to play against one of the best teams in Africa. “
It definitely won’t be easy playing against them, but we have been working hard. We don’t expect it to be an easy game.
“We are playing away from home. Playing in front of the people of South Africa, playing in front of my family which is something I am also looking forward to,” said the forward.
Lakay has registered one goal in four appearances in the Champions League this season, but he will be without strike partner Fiston Mayele who was unable to travel to South Africa due to visa issues.
“Miley is a very important player and a strong addition to the attacking line,” Coach Jaime Pachecho told the media, as per the club’s website.
“He is currently the strongest candidate to win the Best Player Award on the continent for last year.
“His presence would have given Pyramids additional strength in the attacking line, but he must deal with the current situation, stressing that he has great confidence in his players and their ability.”
