What’s the story?
After announcing their reunion with Italian sportswear brand Kappa in November last year, Kaizer Chiefs have shared the first look of their players donning the iconic brand.
Amakhosi’s stars have debuted the Chiefs’ new Kappa tracksuits for the 2023/24 season, which signals the start of a new exiting era for the Soweto giants.

Chiefs debut Kappa tracksuits
Preparations for next season have started in Naturena as the Glamour Boys returned for their pre-season fitness tests.
The new season will bring a lot of changes to Amakhosi, with new players and potentially a brand new technical team, but it’s also a new dawn in terms of the club’s look.
Chiefs’ long and successful 23-year partnership with Nike has officially come to an end after the club showcased its players rocking their new Kappa tracksuits.

The tracksuits are in navy and feature some intimate detailing of geometric shapes on the sleeves, with the bold Kappa logo in white and the club crest in its normal position, sitting above the Vodacom branding.
Amakhosi youngster Mduduzi Shabalala dyed his hair blue, which somewhat matches the new Kappa training gear and tracksuits.

The tracksuits are yet to be put on sale by Chiefs or Kappa, with the jerseys set to be the next thing to be revealed.
Kaizer Chiefs and Kappa announced their new partnership back in November last year, in a landmark agreement that sees Kappa become Amakhosi’s official technical sponsor and licensing partner from the 2023/24 season for an initial period of five years.
The agreement to reunites the two major brands for the first time since the 1996, rekindling a relationship that first started in 1989 for a period where Chiefs enjoying plenty of success and influenced a memorable period in SA football fashion.
Kappa will supply kits and accessory products to all Kaizer Chiefs teams, from the Youth Academy Development teams to the Senior Team.
Adding to that, Kappa will have the right to manufacture and distribute Chiefs and Kappa branded merchandise and accessory products in South Africa, throughout Africa and the across the globe.
