Pitso Mosimane has moved on to a record win since leaving South Africa.
An incredible 5-0 demolition of Emirate Club by Al Wahda on Thursday set Pitso Mosimane for an historic win since he departed Mamelodi Sundowns to pursue his coaching career in the Middle East.
Argentine forward Cristian Guanca opened the scoring from the spot just in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup (league cup) tie before the break with fellow countryman Facundo Kruspzky then adding another four for a 5-0 massacre.

The aggregate score then went up to 8-0.
Mosimane’s men now proceed to the quarterfinals of the competition which they won as recent as 2018 before finishing as runners-up the following year.
A win stretching five goals without reply from the opposition has never happened for Mosimane since he left South Africa three years ago.
The last time it happened was against AmaZulu in October 2019 while Mosimane was still at Sundowns.
While in Egypt, Mosimane’s team scored six past Union Sportive de la Gendarmerie Nationale (USGN) but the Niger scored a consolation in the second round of the 2021/22 CAF Champions League.
Thursday’s victory now moved Mosimane to a total of 89 wins in only 134 games since he left South Africa.
Mosimane has now won three in a row and meets Hatta in his next game on August 24.
