Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson has reacted to the side’s shock Nedbank Cup elimination at the hands of Milford FC.
The Soweto giants suffered a first round exit for the third time in four season after losing to the Motsepe Foundation Championship side on penalties.

Johnson insists Chiefs put pressure on themselves after squandering so many chances throughout the 120 minutes.
“Ja, not good, I thought when you have 20 chances to score a goal and you still have a penalty as well, on top of that and you don’t convert that, then we just ourselves under major pressure,” Johnson said on SuperSport TV.
“We did everything we could but put the ball in the net. That’s football, what can I say?
“For us in the first-half we had so many opportunities when we came out, we had more opportunities in the second-half but the goal doesn’t go in the net, you can’t do anything.
“So we’re not in a good space now because we knew what this meant for us and we lose it today.
“I think you can see the players, they know what it means to them. Myself, I know what this meant for us to carry it further and go to the next round but this is football. We wish the opposition luck but for us it’s not good enough,” he said.
