AFTER the North Gauteng High Court set aside King Misuzulu’s recognition as the Zulu king by President Cyril Ramaphosa, Misuzulu has made a U-turn and re-appointed his old legal firm, Strauss Daly.
This is the law firm that won almost all his court battles, representing him and late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi. However, when he had a fall out with Buthelezi, he dumped them and later he lost his recognition case in the North Gauteng High Court.
In the letter signed by King Misuzulu on 14 December to Strauss Daly, he appointed them as legal counsel with immediate effect.
