Fluminense star Marcelo has made a vow to the supporters ahead of their FIFA Club World Cup semi-final against Al Ahly.
Al Ahly booked their spot in the final four after overcoming Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad 3-1 in the quarter-finals on Friday.
The South American champions will join the tournament in the semi-final as they always do, and they aim to become the first side since Corinthians in 2013 to stop the title from going back to Europe.

Marcelo, who won the trophy four times with Real Madrid, says the goal is to get to the final and win the trophy.
“Firstly, I’d like to thank the Tricolor supporters,” Marcelo said in an interview with FIFA.com.
“We’re here, feeling strong, united and with the positive energy you have given us to be able to do our best at this Club World Cup.
“We will do everything to reach the final and bring the title to you. We know it will be really difficult, but with a lot of belief, hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
Marcelo also gave his thoughts on Manchester City, who they could meet in the final if they overcome Al Ahly on Monday night.
“We know that, right now, they’re one of the best teams in the world. They have many special players, an amazing coach,” the Brazilian added,
“And it’s not just this year. For several years they’ve been doing really well in their league and the Champions League. They’ll always be the favourites. The team who won the Champions League will always be the favourites.”
