In an exclusive interview with Kick Off, former Orlando Pirates star Tlou Segolela has opened up about his new role at Motsepe Foundation Championship side Platinum City Rovers.
Segolela, who previously held the role of General Manager, has now been appointed the head coach of the club.
The CAF C license holder says he will not hesitate to step aside if he struggles to improve Rovers’position on the log.

Rovers are currently stuck at the bottom of the league and will need a miracle to gain promotion to the DStv Premiership this season.
“The position of being a head coach comes with a lot of responsibility, but I’m very grateful for the opportunity given to me by the chairman,” Segolela tells KickOff.
“But the transition is not new to me, I’ve been in football for some time, we even won the ABC Motsepe League and got promoted.
“No team likes to see themselves where we are at the moment. But life is about opportunities.
“The mandate is very simple, win your next game. But in life one has to be honest and face reality. A good dancer always knows when to leave the stage.
“Football is about results, and if results are not coming then why should you stand in people’s way?
“We have good players and when it comes to quality you can’t fault any of them.
“They are willing to make their mark in South African football, I just need to bring out the hunger in them a make them understand what league they are in.
“For now we just need to work on them psychologically, I understand there’s a lot of pressure if you have 15 teams above you.
“Football is all about luck, and luck comes from your hard work.”
Rovers have only collected 11 points in 14 matches so far this season with only two wins under their belt.
