Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action when they face relegation-threatened Luton Town on 30 March.
The Lilywhites have endured a largely successful season so far, but a 3-0 defeat against London rivals Fulham last time out dealt a significant blow to their hopes of finishing in the Premier League’s top four.
Ange Postecoglou’s side currently sit three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, although they do boast a game-in-hand over the Villans.
Qualification for next season’s Champions League would likely represent a successful first season in charge for Postecoglou, who joined SPurs from Scottish champions Celtic last summer.
Tottenham’s bid to finish in the top four could also determine the future of one of their forwards.
According to Football Insider, the future of Timo Werner could depend on whether or not Spurs qualify for the Champions League next term.
The German striker, 28, joined the Lilywhites from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in January, moving on loan for the remainder of the current campaign.
As part of the deal, Tottenham have the opportunity to make the deal permanent at the end of the season for a fee of £15 million.
It is claimed that Spurs are yet to make a decision on whether or not to activate the clause, but qualification could earn the club £14 million which could then prompt them to sign the player.
Since moving to North London, Werner has scored twice and provided two assists in nine matches.
Werner has been used on the left of a front three by Postecoglou, although he has previously been deployed centrally for both Leipzig and Chelsea.
The Germany international’s current Leipzig contract, set to run until 2026, is said to earn him around £165,000-per-week.
