Novak Djokovic had to go through one of the worst incidents of his life when a water bottle accidentally hit him up while he was signing the autographs. This happened after his first-round win at the Italian Open. Soon after the incident, he was rushed to the hospital where he was nauseous and even had blood. However, coming out of that incident, he came to face the 29th-seeded Alejandro Tabilo in the next round. But, he eventually lost.
Some now believe that the whole bottle incident was the prominent reason behind the Serbian’s poor performance. Days after the Djoker’s elimination, a die-hard Novak Djokovic fan took to X (formerly Twitter) to make his feelings clear about the incident. He came ahead and slammed the person who was responsible for the incident to come up with a public apology. However, the Serb’s former coach Boris Becker found this completely senseless.
Replying to the tweet, he suggested that the instance is far from over and it would be better if he would not think about that and concentrate on what’s about to come next i.e., Roland Garros. “Hey my friend , as you know I like /respect you but …you gotta move on and get over the incident involving Nole ! Shit happened, now focus on Roland Garros! We can’t change the past …” said Becker who suggested that they cannot change the past.

Thus, Boris Becker, who was once the coach of Novak Djokovic came ahead and suggested that it is time to move on from these things. While he said that he had utter respect for the fan, it would be better to stop discussing the incident. However, this fan’s love for Novak Djokovic knows no limits. He recently made another tweet about Djokovic’s record-breaking fine and how it should have been the same with the spectator as well.

Back in 2020, Novak Djokovic was disqualified from the US Open after hitting a lineswoman with a ball during his clash with Pablo Carreno Busta. Trailing 6-5 in the set, he accidentally hit the woman. His die-hard fan took that example and suggested that when the Djoker accidentally hit the lineswoman, he was given a record-breaking fine. But when the same was done by a fan, nothing happened.
“When Djokovic accidentally hit the lineswoman with a ball he was fined a record breaking amount, he was kicked out of the event and was vilified throughout the world. Djokovic apologised immediately to the woman,” said the fan in defence of the Serbian.
