Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are always in the public eye, but the buzz around them has been a bit quieter during the NFL offseason.
When Kelce was asked a question about Swift during his media availability Tuesday, though, he couldn’t resist praising his famous girlfriend.
A reporter asked Kelce about an appearance he made in a video short Swift posted to YouTube in April. In the clip, Swift and Kelce appear together in the kitchen amid 14 highlights from Swift’s life, with her single “Fortnight” off her latest album playing in the background.

Also included in the 15-second montage was a pan full of cinnamon rolls, which Swift famously baked for Kelce during the 2023 NFL season.

The video led one reporter to ask if Kelce and Swift cook together — and if they do, what they like to make. Kelce decided to keep his answer close to the vest.
“That’s a good question,” he said. “I respect that question, but I’m gonna keep that one to myself, because, you know, I thoroughly enjoy cooking with her. So, it’s something I’d rather just keep personal.”
In typical Kelce fashion, though, he couldn’t resist peeling back the curtain a bit as he completed his minicamp press conference.
“Taylor makes a great pop tart and cinnamon roll,” Kelce told the room of reporters as he left the podium.

It’s not a big surprise that Kelce would shout out Swift’s cinnamon rolls. They have become something of a legend, and Swift has posted about them on her various social media platforms several times.
And Swift’s pop tart-making skills received a compliment from Chiefs head coach Andy Reid after Kansas City’s run to the Super Bowl championship earlier this year.
“She likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts,” Reid said. While he didn’t get to taste the treats himself, the players appreciated them, he noted.
Still, while the public has received a few tidbits about Kelce and Swift’s relationship, the Chiefs’ star tight end isn’t willing to reveal too much about their time together.
Swifties everywhere will hope that changes as the pop star and Chiefs tight end remain together.
