Tyson Fury says Oleksandr Usyk undisputed fight ‘doesn’t mean s*** to me’ as he targets another UFC star after Francis Ngannou

Tyson Fury claims he is not interested in fighting Oleksandr Usyk to crown the first four-belt champion in heavyweight history.

It was hoped the top two big men in boxing would meet in a historic clash after Fury’s crossover exhibition bout with former UFC titleholder Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on October 28.

However, ‘The Gypsy King’ has distanced himself from a fight with Usyk and suggested the WBO, WBA, and IBF heavyweight champion isn’t a big enough star to share the ring with him.

“Nope, I am not interested in fighting Usyk,” Fury told The Daily Mail.

“He’s a little Ukrainian dosser. That’s all he is to me. No interest in unifying the division. It doesn’t mean s*** to me. All that stuff about unifying and whatever, it really doesn’t mean anything to me.

“I am looking for the biggest payday. Most of the time, Usyk doesn’t cut it. He’s just a foreign person who doesn’t speak good English so you can’t really sell him.”

The 35-year-old wants to fight someone from the US after making millions during his trilogy with Deontay Wilder and claimed UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones could be his next opponent.

Fury is also open to the idea of re-matching Ngannou under MMA rules.

He said: “I am looking for probably another American.

“Probably looking to fight Jon Jones in a boxing fight. I would fight Francis Ngannou in the cage. I believe I would kick his a** in the cage as well as the ring.”

Fury is unconcerned with the criticism he’s receiving for taking on a boxing debutant next month and is only concentrating on how much money he’ll make for what should be an easy night at the office.

“Haters are going to hate,” he added.

“I am getting a bag. I am getting a f****** big bag too. So, I won’t feel bad when I am cashing my cheque in.

“I won’t care when I am eating ice cream and marshmallows all day drinking Pina Coladas. I’m not thinking, ‘What about those boxers?’ and all that s***.

“So, yeah, haters are going to hate. Everyone famous has haters. I’m sure Van Gogh had his haters too, but I can’t name any of them today so that just shows you. We’ll be alright.”
