T20 World Cup 2024 co-hosts USA take on Ireland in their final group game on Friday at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill.
If USA manage to beat Ireland today, they will secure their place in the Super 8 stage alongside India and in the process knock Pakistan out of the group stage.
Meanwhile, Ireland will aim to secure all three points to keep their hopes alive of making it to the next round.

12:45 PM ET/ 10:15 PM IST: Pakistan’s hopes hang in by the thread as the umpires have announced that there will be another inspection for the USA vs Ireland clash at 1:15 PM ET, before making the final decision.
12:00 PM ET/ 9:30 PM IST: Final inspection of the field is scheduled at 12:30 PM ET to IST. If its not possible to commence the game following the inspection, the game will be called off, resulting in USA progressing to the super 8s.
11:22 AM ET/8:42 PM IST: Not long before the inspections starts. The skies are still dark but the rain has been holding off for now.
10:49 AM ET/8:19 pm IST: Skies have darkened over the sdtadium once again, with a dwindling possibility of play starting anytime soon. Inspection for the pitch is set for 11:30 AM ET, but it may already be raining by that time.
A wash off would mean that Pakistan and Ireland will be knocked out of the competition with USA taking the second spot along with India at first.
