Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat in the final of the Indian Premier League 2024 against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. However, SRH captain’s decision to bat first did not go as he would have thought it should go as they lost three wickets inside the powerplay. Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi fell prey to Mitchell Starc and Vaibhav Arora early in the final.
