The NFC is a cesspool at the moment, with various teams appearing poised to vie for playoff positioning through the opening four games of the year.
The cream always rises to the top, however. And there’s no team riding higher than the Eagles.
Undefeated and undaunted by the pressures of last year’s Super Bowl appearance, Nick Sirianni’s squad is trudging along with the same vigor and effectiveness that brought it so much success in 2022.
That’s not to say it has been easy. Three of the Eagles’ four wins came by way of a single score. Last week, Philly survived an upstart Commanders squad, limping to victory via Jake Elliott’s overtime winner from distance.
