The battle for promotional supremacy is on! Competitors from All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling face off in a collaboration that looks to grow pro wrestling on June 25.
The AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event airs on BR Live in the U.S. and FITE/ DAZN in select countries and will be inside the Scotiabank Arena in Canada.
Several of NJPW’s top stars will invade an AEW ring, including Kazuchika Okada. “The Rainmaker” faces “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson in a dream match for the ages. The two have never crossed paths. Danielson of the Blackpool Combat Club and Okada of Chaos are ready to wow fans who have been salivating about this matchup for years.
Looking to avenge a loss from Wrestle Kingdom this year, Will Ospreay challenges Kenny Omega for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Title. Omega and Ospreay’s rivalry has gotten brutal, with plenty of words, kicks, and punches thrown around. The two had a Match of the Year contender earlier in 2023.
Can they repeat or even surpass that performance?
