The Giants and Seahawks both made surprising playoff runs after the 2022 NFL season. Each is hoping to build upon that success in 2023, but only one team has thus far.
The Seahawks (2-1) started off the campaign with a sound defeat at the hand of the Rams but have since bounced back to win back-to-back games. Seattle beat the Lions in a back-and-forth contest in Week 2 before putting together an offensive outburst in Week 3 against the Panthers.
As for the Giants (1-2), their offense has been anything but smooth. They failed to score in the first six quarters of the season. New York was able to mount a massive comeback in the second half of their Week 2 victory over the Cardinals, but the team generally hasn’t shown much fight or cohesion on either side of the ball.
As a result, Brian Daboll is facing his first adversity as Giants head coach. And while he isn’t in any danger of losing his job — he led the team to a playoff win last season, after all — New York will be looking to improve upon its effort and execution in this “Monday Night Football” battle. With extra time to prepare against a defense that has allowed the third-most yardage in the league (407.3) and fourth-most points per game (29.3), the team should be able to do that.
Of course, Seattle is no slouch offensively, with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett providing the Seahawks with a punch on that side of the ball. As such, this game could turn into an offensive shootout, especially if Saquon Barkley (ankle) is able to play for the Giants.

What channel is Monday Night Football on tonight?
TV channel: ABC, ESPN
Live stream: ESPN+, Fubo (U.S.) | DAZN (Canada)
“Monday Night Football” will be simulcast on ESPN and ABC in Week 4 of the 2023 NFL season. Both networks — which are owned by Disney — will continue to simulcast the game throughout the rest of the season, save for when there is a doubleheader.
Joe Buck (play-by-play) and Troy Aikman (game analyst) joined ESPN in the booth ahead of the 2022 NFL season, and the long-running broadcast duo will be there again in 2023. Lisa Salters serves as the sideline reporter for the broadcast while John Parry is the network’s NFL rules analyst.
Those looking to stream the game can do so by using Fubo, which comes with a free trial. It carries the ESPN family of networks as well as CBS, Fox, NBC and NFL Network, so that service will give NFL fans access to most NFL games. The only ones that Fubo does not come with are exclusive to Amazon Prime.
Viewers in Canada can catch the matchup on DAZN, which carries NFL Game Pass.
