WWE heads to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana for its Fastlane Premium Live Event on October 7. The event will air on Peacock in the U.S. and the WWE Network in other territories.
The biggest star from WWE’s past, John Cena, teams up with the hottest act in WWE today in LA Knight. They face The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Cena involved himself in The Bloodline’s business, so the group attacked every Cena ally heading into Fastlane. The only member of WWE’s roster they forgot about was Knight, whom Cena interacted with when he reffed his match against The Miz.
This will be Cena’s first match in six months, as he last fought at WrestleMania. Meanwhile, Knight returns to action for the first time since having tested positive for COVID-19.
The event also features title fights. Seth “Freakin” Rollins defends the World Heavyweight Title against rival Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match, while Iyo Sky defends the WWE Women’s Title against former champions Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Meanwhile, the Latino World Order faces the new team of Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.
