Tottenham make the trip to Anfield this Sunday to face third-placed Liverpool in the Premier League, looking for the win to close the gap to Aston Villa.
Having seen their Premier League title push fade away after some sluggish performances in recent weeks, the Reds are looking to finish iconic manager Jurgen Klopp’s trophy-laden tenure on a strong note.
Only a dramatic capitulation from both Arsenal and Manchester City from here on in could open the door for the Reds to push for a second league title under Klopp, but it is now a matter of ensuring his last few games in charge end on a high.
Spurs, meanwhile, are still clinging on in the race to finish in the top four in the Premier League. They are currently sitting on 60 points, seven behind Unai Emery’s Aston Villa with a game in hand, with four games left in Ange Postecoglou’s debut Premier League campaign.
The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Liverpool vs Tottenham lineups, team news
All eyes will be on whether or not Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp turns to Mohamed Salah following their argument on the touchline during last week’s frustrating draw against West Ham. The Egyptian attacker, who has been a talismanic figure for Liverpool this season, has been enduring a slump in form lately amid speculation of interest from Saudi Pro League clubs.
For Liverpool, Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara have been ruled out for the rest of the season. However, there’s a chance Cody Gakpo and Conor Bradley can return in some capacity this weekend.
Diogo Jota hasn’t trained this week so will miss out, while Klopp will make a late check on Virgil van Dijk, who has missed the majority of the team training in the build up.
Liverpool predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Alisson (GK) — Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Robertson — Endo, Mac Allister, Gravenberch — Salah, Gakpo, Diaz.
Liverpool subs (9): TBC
Tottenham Hotspur, who are already without defender Destiny Udogie, have been dealt a fresh blow as defender Ben Davies (calf) and RB Leipzig loanee Timo Werner (hamstring) will also be out for the rest of the season with respective injuries.
Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon remain long-term casualties. Out-of-form James Maddison was dropped for the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in midweek, but could come back into the starting XI here.
Tottenham predicted XI (4-2-3-1 right to left): Vicario (GK) — Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Davies — Bentancur, Sarr — Kulusevski, Maddison, Son — Richarlison.
Tottenham subs (9): TBC
Liverpool vs Tottenham prediction
Despite Liverpool’s abysmal form in recent games, an eight-day break from their last fixture should give the ideal opportunity for a breather after a frantic and frustrating April.
The absence of any title-contending pressure, along with Sunday being Klopp’s penultimate home game in charge of the Merseyside-based outfit, could actually work in Liverpool’s favour against a desperate Spurs side feverishly chasing down fourth-placed Villa.
Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham
