Street Fighter 6 is the biggest fighting game of the last few years. It’s the title with the most attention on it for esports and still has a sizeable player base. Looking at the fighting game esports events we’ve seen for Street Fighter 6 so far, there are some stand-out players. These are the best Street Fighter 6 players currently active in the game as we move into the Capcom Cup X.
5. Chris Wong
Chris Wong so far in Street Fighter 6 has been one of the standout players. He’s the winner of one of only three offline events in the 2023 Pro Tour. He won the France Offline Major, securing his spot over MenaRD. He’s had strong results in Asia World Warrior competitions too. We’ll have to wait until the Capcom Cup to see how he compared to the other top players in 2024 though.
4. Punk

Punk has long been one of the most successful and best SF players, winning eight different pro tour events. In SF 6 he’s had some early success too. He’s won numerous ICFC North America events. Along with getting third at the Intel Plays 2023 Invitational and CEO. He’s one of the best Street Fighter 6 players and it’ll be interesting to see how he performs at the Capcom Cup later in the year.
3. Gachikun
As we move into the Capcom Cup X, Gachikun definitely stands out as one of the best SF 6 players. He’s had fantastic results in the first year of fighting game esports for the title. The player is also a former Capcom Cup Champion. For the X instalment, he’s secured his spot early by winning the Singapore Offline Major.

MenaRD is a clear standout for Street Fighter 6 players so far. Even prior to this title, he was a two-time Capcom Cup champion for Street Fighter V. In early tournaments like CEO 2023 and the Intel Plays 2023 Invitational, he won first. That’s along with winning Get on My Level 2023, and a Road Warrior event. The player just missed out at EVO 2023 coming in second. However, MenaRD and the player in number 1 here are both completely dominating Street Fighter 6 so far.

Looking at the best SF 6 players in 2023 so far, AngryBird is the clear standout. He didn’t have as many huge wins in the earliest portion of the game but dominated at the first huge tournament. He’s the SF 6 Evo 2023 Champion. The majority of the other players here competed there and it was the tournament with the most at stake. This puts him first at least until we see the year’s champions all clash at the Capcom Cup.
