With new rumors added daily, Amari Cooper speculation reaches a fever pitch

The Cleveland Browns veterans report to training camp in three days.  This is the time of year of immense excitement for Browns fans near and far.

In addition to the usual rumors and predictions, there is a somewhat unexpected storyline involving Amari Cooper this year.

Cooper, an unrestricted free agent in 2025, held out of mandatory minicamp in June because he wants a contract extension before the 2024 regular season kicks off. ‘

This leads many to speculate what happens next.  Will Cooper hold out from training camp?

Cooper has been the subject of other rumors.  Could the Browns trade Cooper for Brandon Aiyuk?   The 49ers have not indicated that they plan to trade Aiyuk, their star WR2, despite the fact he requested a trade earlier in the week.

A new rumor has entered the discussion involving Cooper’s former team, the Dallas Cowboys, especially since they find themselves in a situation with Cee Dee Lamb who could also be a 2025 free agent and would also like to be paid.

Cooper has made it known that he would like to stay in Cleveland.  Deshaun Watson commented earlier in the week that he has been in communication with Cooper.
