Samsung has been updating loads of smartphones to One UI 6 based on Android 14 over the past couple of weeks or so, and today the rollout seems to have reached a rather surprising device.
We’re talking about the Galaxy A14 5G, and it’s not that this handset wasn’t always in line to receive the update, the surprise comes more from just how quickly the rollout trickled down through Samsung’s roster to such an entry-level device.

It is, of course, very nice to see. The information comes from a tipster over on X, who claims the rollout is now underway for A14 5G units sold in India. The update arrives over-the-air as a 1.8GB download, so make sure you have enough space for it before you start the procedure.
After you install the update, your A14 5G will be on software version A146BXXU2CWK9 / A146BODM2CWK9 / A146BXXU2CWK2 and on the November 1, 2023 security patch level.
Galaxy A14 5G units in different markets should receive the update as well, in the coming days and weeks.
