Leaked images from Weibo suggest the Oppo Find X7 Pro will feature an octagonal camera housing. It is noticeably thick and houses four camera sensors.
The upcoming Oppo Find X7 Pro has a lot riding on it, thanks to a wave of leaks that hyped up its cameras. The Oppo Find X7 Pro is slated to feature two periscope-style telephoto lenses and a 1-inch wide-angle sensor, the first ever in a smartphone. A new leak from Weibo shows that its cameras won’t be the only standout feature of the Finx X7 series.
Alleged real-world images of the Oppo Find X7 Pro show a colossal octagon camera housing at the back. Casemakers will have to work overtime to offset the very noticeable bulge, and using the phone without one would be tricky, to say the least. There are at least four camera sensors on there with an equally large LED flash module.
Unfortunately, the Oppo Find X7 Pro’s exact camera specs are still a mystery. Oppo has once again teamed up with Hasselblad to bring what they call “HyperTone 2024” to the Find X7 series. This will likely be the focal point of Oppo’s already camera-centric marketing strategy around the Find X series.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300-powered Oppo Find X7 has already made quite a splash on Geekbench by blazing past the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. If previous launch cycles are anything to go by, the Find X7 Pro will stick with team Qualcomm, which has a better overall feature set to make up for MediaTek’s raw compute power.
