Best Mattress Deals
Helix Sleep Midnight Luxe Hybrid Mattress
Photograph: Helix Sleep
Use code PDS25 at checkout to get 25 percent off our favorite mattress. The Helix Midnight Luxe is frequently at this price, but it also does jump up. It comes with two pillows, a mattress protector, and a sheet set. It works well for all sleeping positions—even for stomach sleepers. We tried the medium firm Midnight Luxe model, but there are a few other versions in the Luxe family for different firmness levels and sleeping positions. This sale ends on February 29.
Leesa’s Sapira hybrid is our runner-up pick. We’ve seen it drop to $1,392, but it’s not often discounted at all. It’s not quite as luxurious as the Helix, but we kept coming back to it during testing for its soft yet firm feel. The top layer of foam is nice and cooling. This sale ends on February 27.
Use code PDS25 to get this discount and two free pillows. Even with 25 percent off, the Helix Elite is very expensive, but it’s a fantastic bed. It has nine layers of foam compared to the Luxe’s six, and it is 16 inches thick. Because of the size, it comes in two boxes and you’ll need to zip both pieces together and put it over a slatted bed frame. Like the Luxe, there are various options depending on what firmness level and sleep position you prefer. We tried the softest one, which cradled us to sleep. This sale ends on February 29.
Best Organic Mattress Deals
Birch Luxe Natural Mattress
Photograph: Cole Slutzky/Birch
The Birch Luxe Natural is our runner-up organic mattress. We haven’t seen it reach its $3,249 MSRP, but this price matches what we saw on Cyber Monday. It’s medium-firm with structured support for varying sleeping positions, and the pillowy top uses a layer of blended cashmere to help with temperature regulation. It’s GOTS-certified, using natural latex with no polyurethane-based foams. This sale ends on February 29.
WIRED senior writer Scott Gilbertson says he initially started his research on organic mattresses so his kids could sleep on something he felt good about. Our other picks are pricey, but if your kid sleeps on a twin-size bed, this is a reasonably priced option. We’ve seen the Kiwi drop as low as $649 but its normal sale price is $719, making this a great time to grab it. It’s made using certified organic cotton, wool, and latex. This sale ends on February 27.

Serta Perfect Sleeper Cobalt Calm Plush Pillowtop
Photograph: Serta
This price is for the ultimate support level with a plush pillow top that we tried, but there are more customization options available. Most modern mattresses come folded up in a box, but this is an innerspring, so you’ll need to schedule a delivery. It comes from a reputable brand that’s been making mattresses forever, and we found it struck an excellent balance of soft and supportive.
It is tempting to go cheap when looking at how much most mattresses cost. But there aren’t a ton of good cheap mattresses, this Linenspa included. If you can, save up and get something that will last and won’t acerbate your back problems. However, if you need something right now that’s cheap, this mattress is comfortable enough. Just know that the edge support is uneven, and the springs are a little creaky.
The Nolah Evolution is great for side sleepers. It’s often discounted, but it did jump up in price on Amazon before it became unavailable there. It’s not a bad time to buy, but you’ll likely see this price again if you want to wait. We did find it needed a full two weeks to break in, as it initially felt like an overstuffed balloon. But our tester said that at the end of the month, they didn’t want to give it up. The high-density foam and heavy-duty coil help to support and align your spine.
DreamCloud Premier Rest Hybrid
Photograph: Amazon
We have a separate guide for mattresses readily available on Amazon, and DreamCloud is our runner-up. It was $15 less earlier in the week, but this deal is still solid. It’s luxurious, with eight layers of foam, coiled springs, and a cashmere-blend quilted pillow top. It caters to side and back sleepers with its medium-firm feel. But it’s lacking in edge support.
The discount is auto-applied to your cart during checkout. The Keetsa is another honorable mention in our guide. Our tester wasn’t blown away by it, but it was perfectly fine and soft without feeling overly so.
This is one of our favorite organic mattresses. It’s comprised of layers of latex and natural foam, which lends a supportive feeling. The bed is available in four different firmness levels.
Awara Natural Hybrid Mattress
Photograph: Awara
This sale ends tonight, and this price is $50 lower than we saw during the holiday shopping season last year. Our affordable latex mattress choice is both supportive and bouncy, with little motion transfer. It also has less off-gassing odors than other beds in boxes we’ve tried. Just be aware that you can feel the springs a bit more, and the edges of the bed are quite rigid compared to the sleeping surface.
Seeking a firm mattress? This one earned an honorable mention from our tester. Note that it was 30 percent off and therefore a bit cheaper earlier in the week, however, this deal is still okay if your heart is set on this bed. It’s available in three different firmness levels, and we tried the highest. The mattress is cool and rigid. The top layer is slippery, so consider using sheets with straps to avoid the endless readjustment cycle—especially if you have a platform-style bed frame. This sale ends on February 27.
Sheet Deals
Brooklinen Washed Linen Core Sheet Set
Photograph: Brooklinen
This price is for the set with the flat sheet included. Note that entering the coupon code at checkout is tricky—the field is at the top of the page rather than on the typical right-hand side. This is a solid deal on some of our favorite percale sheets. They soften up over time and hold up well even after years of use.
These great flannel sheets felt softer to the touch than other flannel sheet sets we tested. They’re cozy and very warm, and they soften up more and more with each wash. This sale ends on February 25.
The discount is slight, but it’s there. We like these GOTS-certified sheets a lot. They’re cotton, but they feel like sleeping on silk or satin. Just be aware that they sleep pretty warm compared to the other cotton sheets we’ve tried.
Sleep Gadget and Accessory Deals
Yoto Player (3rd Gen)
Photograph: Yoto
The Yoto Player (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is a kid-centric Bluetooth speaker that makes an excellent sound machine for children. It’ll play audiobooks through physical cards slotted into the top of the device. It also has a sleep mode that plays a mix of classical music, lullabies, and sleep sounds to help kids drift off. Perhaps most importantly, it doesn’t have a microphone, or a camera, so you’ll be able to sleep peacefully too.
This is an excellent discount on a weighted blanket we like. The cotton composition stays cool, and the blanket is dense enough that even the lightest weight still compresses you (in a good way).
Hearken back to your early days by swaddling yourself to sleep with this adult-sized pod. One of our testers said the pod was more soothing and comforting than she ever expected, while the other tester felt a bit constricted. The retailer offers returns free for 30 days, so you can test it out without risking much. Get more recommendations in our weighted blankets buying guide.
