Anker/CNET
Chargers are a must-have, and while you usually get one with whatever device you buy, it’s always handy to have spares. That’s especially true when the spares work out at under $7 each and come from Anker, and include two cables to boot.
Anker/CNET
A good power strip not only makes it easier to get to your outlets and adds a couple more, but also has good safety features and ideally a few USB ports too. Well, this one from Anker has all of that and makes for a great addition to charge-heavy homes.
Gerber/CNET
CNET managing editor Clifford Colby jumped out of his chair over this sale for the Gerber Gear Dime multitool kit. It’s excellent for folks like Colby who want to make sure they have the right tools on them in case of earthquakes and other emergencies. The tool has multiple functions you can use in an emergency. It’s got “pliers, scissors, screwdrivers, wirecutters and a knife,” Colby wrote. Priced at only $24, it’s light on your pocketbook and your pockets.
