Acer Malaysia has entered the smart monitor category with the introduction of the 27-inch Acer CS272, though it isn’t powered by Google TV OS like what we saw in COMPUTEX last month, it is powered by webOS and has features that gives its rivals a good run for their money.
The Acer CS272 features a Full HD IPS panel and like most productivity monitors, it has a height adjustable stand that allows the monitor to be pivoted and titlted for a comfortable working experience. With webOS, the monitor comes with streaming apps that you’d expect on a smart TV, such as Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Apple TV and more, it also has Apple Home support that allows for controlling smart home appliances.
The Acer CS272 has external webcam support which you can connect one to do video calls on Google Duo, it also comes with Microsoft 365 which you can just connect a wireless keyboard mouse to the monitor and work without a PC, it supports various wireless streaming protocols such as as Apple AirPlay and Miracast.
The Acer CS272 is now available at the Acer eStore, official stores on Lazada and Shopee for RM999.
