At the 2023 Yunqi Conference held from October 29th to November 2nd in Hangzhou, Alibaba Cloud’s Chief Technology Officer, Zhou Jingren, stated that in addition to traditional infrastructure services, Alibaba Cloud is now leading the development of cloud computing in the upcoming era of intelligence.
“The entire AI technological revolution is developing at a rapid pace, impacting every aspect of our society. With the advent of the AI revolution, the pricing and systems of cloud computing in the intelligent era are also undergoing a series of changes and innovations,” said Zhou Jingren. He further added that through years of accumulation, Alibaba Cloud has built a comprehensive AI infrastructure and established a sophisticated AI large-scale model training platform, which can provide everyone with complete model inference service.
“This series of AI infrastructures effectively helps our startups, research institutions, and universities to carry out a large amount of model development and research, truly promoting the rapid development of the domestic artificial intelligence industry,” Zhou Jingren stated at the conference.
Alibaba Cloud released Tongyi Qianwen 1.0 a few months ago, and will release the new Tongyi Qianwen 2.0 large-scale model at the conference. In addition, a series of industry models will be released to help developers in various industries utilize the power of artificial intelligence and algorithms.
