Unfortunately, the latter means that the CU34G3X cannot get bright enough to do HDR content justice. Still, AOC states that it factory calibrates the monitor to Delta E deviations of less than 2 in relation to the sRGB colour space.
Furthermore, the monitor has pairs of DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports, as well as an adjustable stand and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts. For now, AOC has only launched the CU34G3X in China, where it retails for CNY 2,999 (~US$411). While the company has not confirmed global availability, it is likely to arrive under its AGON or GAMING brands if it receives a global release. Based on the AOC Q27G3XMN, it could take a month or so for the CU34G3X to be available outside China.
