Announced last month, ASRock has officially launched the DeskMini B760 mini PC in Japan and China. The starting price of the mini PC is 34,980 Yen in Japan (around US$233) and 1,489 Yuan in China (around US$203).
After being announced in September, the ASRock DeskMini B760 is now available for purchase in China and Japan. However, the Chinese model goes by a different name: DeskMic B760. But despite having different names and base prices, both versions have the same internals under the hood.
When it comes to key features, the DeskMini B760 mini PC is powered by the B760-STX motherboard from ASRock. This board is compatible with Intel 12th Gen to Intel 14th Gen Core processors with LGA1700. It has support for up to an Intel i9-13900. Also, there are two DDR4 memory slots, which provide support for up to 64 GB of total RAM.
In terms of cooling, the ASRock DeskMini B760 mini PC employs a desktop-level cooling platform. The cooling system includes two fans and offers passive cooling through the chassis. On that note, the chassis, made of aluminum alloy, features a dual-slide design for easy disassembly.
Besides, the motherboard of the DeskMini B760 mini PC has two M.2 SSD slots, with one supporting PCIe Gen5x4 and the other supporting PCIe Gen4x4. Additionally, it supports WiFi 6 through the M.2 Key E socket and comes with an integrated Intel CNVi WiFi and Bluetooth module.
Moreover, the ASRock DeskMini B760 offers a range of versatile connectivity options. The mini PC has one D-Sub port, one HDMI port, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A Ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one headphone with mic jack, and one RJ-45 Ethernet port.
While ASRock has not yet announced international availability, it is currently available in Japan with a starting price of around US$233. And in China, the DeskMic B760 starts at around US$203.
