ASUS Launches New Vivobook S Series Laptops in Malaysia with Advanced OLED Displays and AI-Enabled Processors

ASUS Malaysia unveiled today its latest additions to the Vivobook S series, the 14-inch Vivobook S 14 OLED (S5406) and the 16-inch Vivobook S 16 OLED (S5606). These new models are designed to cater to users seeking a blend of mobility and performance, featuring cutting-edge Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, ASUS Lumina OLED displays, and a sleek all-metal design.

The new laptops are powered by Intel’s latest AI-enabled processors, which include a built-in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for efficient AI computing. This allows for enhanced data privacy and efficiency, particularly for applications that rely on intense computational processes. The ASUS Vivobook S series also introduces an exclusive Copilot key, which provides instant access to Windows 11 AI-powered tools, enhancing user productivity.

Each model boasts a high-resolution OLED display, with the S 16 model featuring a 3.2K resolution and both versions supporting a 120 Hz refresh rate. These displays offer a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and are VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 600 certified, ensuring vivid and lifelike visuals.

For those who prioritize aesthetics as much as performance, the laptops offer a customizable ErgoSense keyboard with single-zone RGB backlighting and an array of modern color options including Neutral Black and Mist Blue. The keyboards are designed with a comfortable key travel and an optimized scissor-key mechanism for quiet operation.

Portability is a key feature of the new series, with the laptops starting at just 1.39 cm in thickness and weighing as little as 1.3 kg. Despite their slim profiles, they do not compromise on performance, boasting up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of PCIe® 4.0 SSD storage.
