While there are plenty of smartwatches out there and Apple Watch options are facing more and more competition from other brands, our absolute favorite smartwatches on the market still come from Apple. The brand claimed multiple spots on our list of the best models for 2023. And because there are a few different models to choose from, there’s an option for every need and budget. Prices start at just $249 if you want the basic and affordable Apple Watch SE (2022), and range all the way up to $799 if you want the latest and greatest Apple Watch Ultra 2, which came out in September. There’s also the new Apple Watch Series 9, the latest in its flagship lineup, and it’s still pretty easy to get your hands on a previous-gen Series 8 right now.
But no matter what Apple Watch is best suited for your needs, there’s no reason to pay more than you have to. That’s why we’ve rounded up some of the best Apple Watch deals and discounts below. The new Apple Watch Series 9 is the latest in Apple’s flagship lineup of wearables. It hit shelves last month, so unsurprisingly, we aren’t seeing any big discounts yet. But if you’re looking to upgrade, you can save up to $380 when you trade in an eligible smartwatch at Apple directly.

The Ultra 2 is the most advanced Apple Watch to date. It hit shelves last month, and offers some slight improvements over the 2022 model. Like the Series 9, we’re not seeing too many big discounts quite yet, but you can save up to $380 with an eligible trade-in at Apple.

With the new Apple Watch Series 9 now available, we’re seeing some solid discounts on the Series 8 at the moment. If you want the 41mm model, you can save up to $79 on select configurations at Amazon, cutting the price to $320. If you want the larger 45mm model, you can also save up to $79 on select variants, dropping the price to $350.

Unfortunately, you won’t find any straightforward discounts on the affordable Apple Watch SE (2022) at the moment. However, you can pick it up at Best Buy, which has its own trade-in program where you can save up to $235 with the trade-in of an eligible smartwatch. However, the biggest discounts are for the latest and most advanced Apple Watches, so unless you’re looking to downgrade, you’ll be looking at discounts of closer to $100 off. You’ll also get four free months of Apple Fitness Plus with the purchase, which is one more month than you get at the Apple Store.

Apple recently released the Apple Watch Ultra 2, which features some slight improvements over last year’s model. However, the previous-gen Ultra still has a ton to offer, and features a 49mm titanium case, a sapphire flat front crystal display and an impressive 36-hour battery life. And right now, you can get select configurations for $70 off at Amazon, which drops the price to $729
