With the early October launch of the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, shoppers looking to find a deal on previous-generation models of Pixel phones are in luck. Having earned a number of spots in our best Android phones of 2023, Google devices are known for being powerful and user-friendly. They’re also an easy integration with your daily Google suite tools, like Gmail, Google Calendar and more.
With such a wide array of Pixel phones to choose from, finding the right phone for your lifestyle is easy, and finding one at a discount is even easier. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro were Google’s flagship phones last year, and they’re excellent choices if you already use Google services to help organize your life. There’s also the Pixel 7A, which is our favorite budget-friendly Android phone, and the previous-gen Pixel 6A. Plus, there’s the new Pixel Fold, Google’s first foldable device, which hit shelves over the summer.
If you’re having a hard time deciding which Pixel model will work best for you, we’ve compared the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro to their previous-gen counterparts, with a full breakdown of their specs and performance. If affordability is your top priority, you’ll probably want to opt for the budget-friendly Pixel 7A or the even cheaper previous-gen Pixel 6A.
Pixel 7 and 7 Pro deals
The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro hit shelves back in October of 2022, so you’ll find them in stock and available at most major retailers and carriers. Whether you’re looking for an unlocked model, have an older device to trade in or are in need of a new service plan through a carrier, there are plenty of offers to be had.
There are a few benefits that come with buying your Pixel 7 directly from Google. For one, all models and colors are currently in stock, so you don’t have to compromise your ideal configuration. Plus, Google lets you buy your phone outright, as opposed to on an installment plan, which some retailers and carriers require.
At the moment, Google isn’t offering any straightforward discount on the Pixel 7 series. But if you have a phone from Google, Apple or Samsung, you can save up to $590 with a trade-in — with the latest iPhones netting you the biggest discount.
AT&T is not offering comprehensive deals on the Pixel 7 or 7 Pro right now. However, if you are looking to trade in your old phone, you can gain a trade-in value for it of up to $380. Newer models (especially iPhones) earn the highest trade-in value.
Both new and existing customers can save on the Pixel 7 series right now at T-Mobile. It’s currently marked down 16%, sitting at $500. New T-Moblie customers will save $400 when adding a new line of service on a qualifying service plan. Existing T-Mobile customers can score the Google Pixel 7 for free with the trade-in of a qualifying device (saving you $500). Note the discount is applied in the form of monthly bill credits over a 24-month period.
Best Buy is offering a few different ways to save on the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. If you’re after an unlocked model, you can save up to $500 with an eligible trade-in.
Unfortunately, Amazon is not offering any straightforward discounts on the Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro at the moment, however, Prime members always get free shipping.
Though the current savings at Target are slim, they’re still savings. Currently, you can get an unlocked Pixel 7 in obsidian for $549, which is a $50 savings. The Pixel 7 Pro in Snow is $880, which is $19 less than the regular retail price. If you use your Target Red Card, you can save an additional 5%.
Though Verizon is not offering any straightforward discounts on the Pixel 7 or 7 Pro right now, the company is offering savings if you combine the purchase with a Google Pixel Watch 2. Doing this awards you $400 in promotional credits. You are required to add a line for the watch. It’s also worth noting that right now, Verizon has limited stock on most configurations.

Pixel 7A deals

Richard Peterson/CNET
CNET’s Lisa Eadicicco reviewed the budget-friendly Pixel 7A and found it has many of the same features as the Pixel 7, saying that “it has the same Tensor G2 processor as the Pixel 7, a new 64-megapixel main camera and a 6.1-inch screen just like its predecessor.” It’s available at a lower price than the other models in the Pixel 7 lineup and there are consistently great deals on the 7A out there, including three all-time low prices offered at Google, Amazon and Best Buy.
Right now Google is offering one of the best discounts they’ve had on the Pixel 7A, with a current price of just $374. This offer is on all configurations and is good for an unlocked phone or with a GoogleFi plan. It is not currently available for Verizon customers.
Add to that you can trade in an old device for savings up to $590 on eligible devices.
Right now thanks to some early Black Friday deals you can score an unlocked Pixel 7A for $374. The price also includes a free three-month subscription to YouTube Premium and they’re even throwing in a 1-month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
You can score an unlocked Pixel 7A right now at Amazon for just $374, one of the lowest prices we’ve seen on Amazon (or anywhere) on this dynamic phone. This is a savings of $125 and the offer is available on all three colors (snow, charcoal and sea).
Although the retail price for the Pixel 7A at AT&T is slightly higher than purchasing through Google (Google price is $500, AT&T price is $519 out the door) the savings here are when you agree to a monthly installment plan. The price is dropped to just $5 per month, paid over a three-year period, leaving you with a $340 savings in the form of bill credits over the 36 months.
Target is getting in on the 7A discount game and is currently offering all three color variants of the phone, unlocked, for $374, a savings of $125. No trade in is required.
Right now, T-Mobile is offering as much as $500 off the Pixel 7A in exchange for your old phone, which means you could get your hands on the 7A for free. To get the full savings, you’ll need to trade in an iPhone 11 (or later), a Samsung Galaxy S9 (or later), a Pixel 7 (or later) or a OnePlus 10 5G (or later). Your device will need to be in good condition to qualify. Earlier models can still get up to $250 off.
Though Mint Mobile doesn’t offer the most dramatic of discounts right now, you can still get the Pixel 7A at the regular price of $499. But if you’re a fan of Mint Mobile, you’ll find you can get six months of free wireless with the purchase of the Pixel 7A. Right now only the charcoal color is available.
Pixel Fold deals
Samsung’s new generation of Z-series foldable phones has some competition from Google. The Pixel Fold is Google’s very first foldable device and features a 5.8-inch cover screen, a 7.6-inch OLED internal screen, 12GB of RAM, a next-gen Tensor G2 processor and an intimidating $1,799 starting price — though you can get your hands on one for less with the trade-in offers below.
If you want to grab the new Pixel Fold directly from Google, you can save up to $590 with an eligible trade-in — with the latest iPhones bringing you the biggest discount. Though Google also accepts phones from Samsung, LG, Motorola and others.
AT&T has a pretty good trade-in offer on the new Pixel Fold right now, as long as you have or switch to a qualifying unlimited plan. When you trade in your old phone from Apple, Google, Samsung or a handful of other brands, you’ll get as much as $800 back in the form of monthly bill credits. That drops the price down to just $30 per month. To get the full discount, your device needs to be valued at just $35 or more, so you may be surprised at how much that cracked iPhone in your drawer is worth. Just note that the discount is applied over a 36-month period.
Both new and existing Verizon customers can save on the Pixel Fold right now. If you’re adding a new line of service or if you’re already a Verizon customer who qualifies for an upgrade, you can save up to $1,000 when you trade in an eligible device.
Pixel 6A deals
CNET’s Lisa Eadicicco originally called Google’s affordable Pixel 6A the “best Android phone under $500.” It’s slightly smaller than the full-size Pixel 7, and features a 6.1-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. It’s equipped with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM, which is slightly less than the standard Pixel 7 has, but is still more than sufficient for most people’s needs. It also boasts 5G capabilities and support for Wi-Fi 6 for lightning-fast browsing. After the release of the Pixel 7A, Google dropped the starting price of this earlier model by $100, so it’s already a solid value at just $349. And we’ve rounded up some of the best deals and offers out there so you can pick one up for even less.
The starting price is $349 and right now Google isn’t offering any straightforward discount on top of that. But if you have an old device from Apple, Google, Samsung and more, you can still save up to $590 with a trade-in. Though if you’re shopping for the previous-gen Pixel 6A, you’ll probably be trading in an older phone that will net you closer to $200 or $300 in credit.
Right now you can you can pick up the charcoal color variant with an unlimited SIM kit for $371 on Amazon. If you’re interested in the sage variant, you can score that one for $349 minus the SIM kit.
Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro deals
The previous-gen Pixel 6 is almost 2 years old so new models are scarcer than before. But if you’re committed to snagging one of these older flagship phones, Amazon still has a few available that you can pick up for hundreds less than the original price. Google no longer carries the Pixel 6 (though they still have the 6A) and most retailers and carriers have shifted their offers over to the newer Pixel 7 or Pixel 8 models, so deals are more limited right now.
Amazon still has some previous-gen Pixel 6 phones that you can pick up at a discount right now. You can save up to $240 on the base model Pixel 6, or up to $314 on the Pixel 6 Pro, with no trade-in or new line required.
