On July 31st, it was announced at Geely Automobile‘s internal conference that CEO Gan Jia Yue revealed that Geely Automobile has developed a fully self-developed AI large-scale model technology and will be released to the public in the second half of this year.
This model will be the “world’s first comprehensive large-scale model for the automotive industry” and also the ‘most versatile in terms of application scenarios’ AI large-scale model, including functions such as painting, music, language, etc.
At the same time, this large-scale model also has the capability of an autonomous driving AI large-scale model, claiming to achieve full coverage of data models at a scale of billions, tens of billions, and hundreds of billions. Among them, Geely’s second new car model under Galaxy New Energy will feature external voice interaction for cars, AI music MVs (music videos), AI children’s picture books, WOW Wallpaper 1.2 version and other AI intelligent interactive technologies. It is expected to be launched in September.

Geely Galaxy L6 has dimensions of 4782/1875/1489mm (length/width/height) and a wheelbase of 2752mm. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with an engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters and a maximum power output of 120kW. The top speed provided is 235km/h. This engine will be combined with an electric motor to form the new generation Thor Intelligent Hybrid System by 8848, which will also feature the “Shield” battery safety system.
The car underwent official performance testing in mid-month. The test results showed that the car has a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.3 seconds, an 80-120 km/h acceleration time of 3.7 seconds, and in the ‘high-speed mode’ test, it can reach a top speed of 247 km/h.
